Ahoy mateys! Yesterday, my witchdoctor finished Monquista and is now beginning Cool Ranch, at what seems like a low level, level 17. I am not sure if that is low or not lol but I'm questing anyway and trying to do as much as I can solo :D I admit, I did have trouble, okay quite a bit of trouble, but I made it through with my companions! :D They are like Bonnie Anne's trusty thunderbuss, reliable at times! ;) Now, let's leap into the tradewinds, what do you say? ;D **NOTE THAT THERE ARE COOL RANCH STORYLINE SPOILERS! I personally think Monquista's ending was pretty blunt. I went to Monquista, talked to some people, they concluded I need to go to find Clark, then, said he is in Cool Ranch, good luck! I am like what? But, that's the monkeys for ya! :P I might've missed or not understood something, but that's what I was told lol. But anyway, I traveled ALL the way to Cool Ranch, which according to my arrow is 14,869 something miles, steps, I don't know away but I do know it's a while! XD I was like okay then XD Bonnie said "It's a long way, but we can do it!" Yeah we can do it Bonnie Anne, but it will take a longggg time :P Once at good ol' Cooper's Roost, Deputy Fowler confronted me at the docks. Howdy stranger too, deputy! :P He told me to go to Jane Canary, which of who I know well, since she's one of my privateer's (Brittany's) crew members! Many of us know where we will find her at near the end of this world ;) (I love Cool Ranch's last parts of its storyline :D) I didn't bring a shovel and I'm happy I didnt... :/ Jane redirected me to Merriweather Clark, who is Christopher Clark's son. His house is right below. Easier than I thought! I take back what I just said. :/ From the note left on the door as shown, I went a bunch of places to try to find Clark's location, but the image below shows the most interesting place. Welcome to what you lay eyes on, The Junction. I think it's cool there are windlanes above us. Sadly, I didn't see any ships go by, but I know I'll see one soon! :D After lots of redirecting and redirecting, I ended up at the Bison Burial Grounds, where I went to rescue Nurse Quinn. Honestly, I thought this cave was going to be a piece of cake. Once again, Brittany/Tasha (Tasha's my witchdoctor that I'm questing on in this post) is wrong O: It is! In game and in real life! For example, my little scribbles there that I made while editing this screenshot on Paint lol XD But, there's a lot more to the picture than that. My crew and the bisons had an epic showdown. Epic hits, criticals, first strikes, relentlesses, blade storms, repel boarders, from every direction everywhere! Kan Po was the first to discover the struggle, but he had some payback next round. And Milo, that sneaky rat on my crew, joined in on the fun. The fight was rough, everyone got on red on their health bar, but we made it. I collected all my loot and then started jumping towards Nurse Quinn. Well, think before you leap. The bison summoned the ghost of their ancestors! The ancestors were a tricky group, but not as bad as the living bisons. I'm not afraid of ghosts. None more so the undead, which is the same thing, but which would you rather fight, a ghost or a skeleton? For me, a ghost. :P Even though I saw the power of these bisons, I still choose a ghost over a skeleton. Why? I don't know. It probably will change as I see more ancestors in the future. Okay back to the post XD ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!? I not either, Old Scratch my Scratch. o.o Jackalopes are super cute, but I'm not going to stay here and die :P It does make it a little harder though to choose your spells, doesn't it? I only used one super attack which was on my character, and it fizzled anyway lol In this battle Nurse Quinn was an ally, and healed Milo after one round lol. Hey, I'm not complaining, Milo was already on yellow after the first round. That's the thing about Kan Po and Milo, their health! But, the attacks are great! So, a little thank you Nurse Quinn, but you're not coming on my squad. Phew this character isn't a swashbuckler! I do have a level 34 swash, though (they are almost done with Cool Ranch, should be starting Mooshu soon so look out for that post series!), and she is not a big fan of low health low damage Nurse Quinn. She's not the worst, but not the best either :P Go get 'em Angel darling! That's my girl! ;) (We've been together since Tasha was level 5.) P.S: Haha! Whisper's face just cracks me up! It looks like the face we all used to make when we were kids and tasted something funny :P :P Sometimes, we still do that face! lol XD That's why I love Baby Angel. She always finds a way to finish the job. It's like it is a habit in her brain, when one of my companions doesn't finish the enemy all the way, she goes over and does it herself. I feel like my companions purposely don't finish some enemies to let Angel get them so Angel gets praise from me lol. Angel probably pays them to do it. She has always had a temptation toward rats.... After the fight, I went over to talk to Mrs. Quinn. I believe the nurse's story for actually sounding realistic, but the last part, Mrs. Quinn, you don't have a ship. How are you going to get to Cooper's Roost?! Are you secretly working for the bisons?!?! But, I didn't worry about it at the moment because Mr. Clark direly needs help! Me?? I wish pirates had invisibility... maybe Vadima can teach it to me. We are good voodoo witches, right? I told Lightning Eyes about my quest, and then he told me I had to go to his leader. There I once again learned.... I was thinking AGAIN?! Since I was only facing 2 bisons, it was just Kan Po and I, but we packed a bunch for being really fired up about all these bisons challenging us, so Kan Po did a bunch of epic hits and relentlesses, woot Po! And then I got the stare down. I would never ever look at a bison or bull like this in real, but witchdoctor me isn't worried. I actually look like I am challenging him a bit, rather than backing away. But wew, I was hit hard with those epics. The other bull did the same thing too, and I was defeated. However, I had a healer. I can always rely on Kan Po! And who knew, another stare down. Guess it is not meant for me to come back to this fight. Looks like my survival now depends on Po and Angel. If Po wins, I will forgive him. But, I know Angel will never disappoint! :D She learned from my voodoo magic :) And he learned his gifts his own way :D They both won for me! Loots galore! When I thought I could get out of this place... Battle stations it was! Because of my defeat from before, I came back with 1 health, but I healed myself and Po healed me. 2 mega heals! YAY! This fight is surely off to a splendid start! We both were in no mood for games! Right away, we cut down to the epics, criticals, and supers! This fight was a lot easier than the past ones! Seven Storms told me afterwards about "Claw Foot." Another way?!?! I quickly go outside to meet Clark. His words don't surprise me. O.o Also while talking to Clark, I got to level 18! WOO! My hours of questing paid off! For my boat being level 17 and a Monquistan boat, it's not really strong compared to the Red Sash Frigates, so I got their boat to yellow and then boarded. I am happy their health is already lowered. That's a helpful update KI! :D :D The Red Sashes were the usually competitive, but not as hard as the bisons. They did get one of my companions to low red, though. The lowered health on the enemies helped. Then off to the Hidden Valley Ranch I went! I'll be back soon to quest with you at the Hidden Valley Ranch dungeon! I can't wait! :D
See you in the tradewinds, or Cooper's Roost Skyway! ~ (in this post) Tasha Yellowfish, my witchdoctor :)
