Ahoy mateys! Today I had a major day of Dreadnaught! It was actually my first time doing it and was really fun! I won a lot of good loot! The Dreadnaught seems to have a quicker spawn, though not as quick as we wanted, but still a good pace! I learned a lot of tips and had my boat get on yellow health a thousand times, but I'm still proud of my experience! Here's some fast and easy tips that are small, but help greatly in your quest of destroying Dreadnaught! :D If you have not yet read the Dreadnaught update notes, check it out here! And now if your ready to leap through the tradewinds, let's begin! General TipsTip 1:Many have admitted that the Dreadnaught is difficult, and to me, would not be possible to solo, especially if you had escorts and scouts circling around you as you were trying to attack the Dreadnaught. I say have a team. I found my team in Avery today and yesterday. They will help you tremendously. If you need to stop and escape to the windbreak to heal, the others can cover. When I see someone coming over to the windbreak, I go and jump back in. Everyone can contribute to the group. Tip 2:It's always helpful when doing anything in the skyways to face the right direction. When the Dreadnaught appears, you don't have to worry about whirling around to try and get to it. All you have to do is go forward and start helping your team. The sooner the better! ;) We all above are facing forward away from the windbreak, which would be the direction of the Dreadnaught. Tip 3:A super important tip is stopping to heal! Whenever you get on yellow, or really close, make your way to the windbreak. In dire times, use your speed, but when the target of the Dreadnaught, escort, or scout doesn't show at the top anymore, instantly stop the speed. I sat on the windbreak till I was full, then jumped right back toward the Dreadnaught. As mentioned above, when you are on the windbreak and see someone coming, wait for your last health and then move over to your friends. They cover for you, but you also need to cover for them. Tips for Escorts & ScoutsTip 1: Attack the Same Target!Whenever you have 2 escorts/scouts attacking you, make sure you're not the only one attacking the other escort! And if you see only one person attacking an escort, go help them! They probably will have a little trouble on their own. In the picture above, me and one other were attacking The Violence escort while 2 others were attacking The Ultimatum escort. (one of the boats was cut off the screenshot, but if you look closely you can see some orange fire where they were attacking on the far right.) Tip 2: Be on the Lookout for Escorts & Scouts Everywhere!Usually, there are escorts and scouts behind you and in front of you! Take notice of the ones behind as well. As you can see, we are attacking The Revenge escort but behind the Golden Gladiator (one of our team member's ships) is another escort or scout attacking it. Be aware ships are all around you, and you want to destroy them asap so you can move to the others behind you! Dreadnaught TipsTip 1: Use Your Ship Powers Wisely! Most of my Dreadnaught tips were explained in the General Tips section, but this is a really good one and I classify this as most useful in Dreadnaught. Don't click each power the moment they show up. Only use your heal when it is needed, which would be yellow or below or almost yellow. Fire your attacks when you are close enough and make sure to use them when they pop up. Use your boosting power, which would be something such as +12% ship accuracy when you are about to use an attack spell. Know what all your spells do and when is good to use them! Hope you enjoyed mateys! Check out the sidebar as for it has plenty of resources! Find the Dreadnaught resources off of Duelist101 under Farming/Quest Guides!
